About this design
桜 (sakura) — cherry blossom. Each spring the blossom lasts only a short time, and its brief beauty is celebrated all over Japan. Here the flowers drift around a dancer's folding fan.
Glowing red, it makes a warm welcome at a restaurant door, a shop window or a party.
Part of Kage-e (Series 02): picture-led. ink silhouettes, made to be seen lit.
