About this design
猫 (neko) means cat. In Japan, cats are said to beckon good fortune — and customers — through the door, like the maneki-neko beckoning cat. Ours stretches out on a temple roof beneath a full moon, beside a pine branch.
A playful red lantern for cat lovers, a shop counter or a cosy corner at home.
Part of Kage-e (Series 02): picture-led. ink silhouettes, made to be seen lit.
